Jeremy Langford Will Be a Top-12 RB in 2016

There are three key ingredients to a top-12 running back season in fantasy: versatility, efficiency and opportunity. There is a running back entering 2016 who might possess all three but is being dismissed based on a small rookie sample… again…....

Donald Brown: The Guy Behind the Guy

This is part of a RotoViz series of articles where we talk about players that are off the 2016 fantasy football radar, but could provide a massive return in value should things break their way. My target: “Dammit” Donald Brown…...

Patriot Games: LeGarrette Blount Edition

In this article I’m going to take a deep dive into whether or not “Blount Games” are predictable and also determine if Blount will return his 2016 ADP value in a bestball format. Historical Production LeGarrette Blount has played in 33 regular season games in a Patriots uniform. His best statistical game was Week 17 of 2013: 24 carries, 189 yards, and 2 TDs. New England had already clinched the division and played starters Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen approximately 25-percent of the offensive snaps each. Blount’s best two games as a Patriot, stats wise, were both island games, in the playoffs, versus the Indianapolis…...

Why I Don’t Dig Doug Baldwin

I like Doug Baldwin. I just don’t like his price for 2016. In this article I’ll explore the reasoning behind my skepticism of his current ADP. In MFL10s from 2013-2015, Baldwin essentially went undrafted. He was not selected often enough to register among the top-60 drafted wide receivers. As of the first week of June, Baldwin is being drafted as the WR26. Quite the jump for a WR entering his sixth season in the league. The more puzzling thing is, what’s changed? I’ve seen him drafted as early as the end of Round 3. That’s before players like Jeremy Maclin, Jordan Matthews,…...

Volatility and Running Back Projections

Last week, Charles Kleinheksel wrote up the tight end volatility projections and Ben Gretch covered the wide receivers. The volatility score methodology was devised by Jonathan Bales. The formula to determine a player’s score is: (High Projection – Low Projection) / Median Projection…...
