2018 NFL Draft Sleeper: Jarvion Franklin

We are now less than a month away from the 2018 NFL Draft in Arlington, Texas. After no running backs were selected in the first round of the 2013 or 2014 drafts, the position has experienced a resurgence with the likes of Todd Gurley, Ezekiel Elliott, Leonard Fournette, and Christian McCaffrey. The top RBs of the 2018 class have been highlighted already here at the ‘Viz, and our Sweet 16 tournament does a great job of comparing the prospects against one another. Today, my focus is on an RB we’ve only covered briefly, a player we may be overlooking…....

2018 NFL Draft Sleeper: Deontay Burnett

Deontay Burnett put up quite a fight in his WR Sweet 16 matchup against Courtland Sutton. While Sutton prevailed, it was a great sign that Burnett kept it that close, especially since we lacked athletic testing numbers. Burnett has been on my radar as a prospect based on his production and youth. Part of our evaluation is incomplete without his athletic testing but we can still glean a lot from his production and that should be our main focus when evaluating wide receivers…....

2018 NFL Draft Prospect: Mark Walton

The 2018 NFL Combine kicks off from Indianapolis on February 27th. Ahead of that event, I wanted to profile a few prospects that we haven’t touched on yet at RotoViz. Whether that’s due to injury, small school status, or a deep position group, it’s time to learn more about these prospects and their potential impact for NFL teams moving forward. Next up is Miami junior running back Mark Walton…....

First up is Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White…....

2018 Fantasy Football Free Agent Preview: Kansas City Chiefs

We have reached the dead period in fantasy football. Championships were won or lost weeks ago and we still have a while to wait for the NFL combine. The 2018 season is just a blip on the radar, but for dynasty team owners — especially those who’ve missed the playoffs — free agency can spark some excitement as players find new teams and values can flip quickly once the contract is signed…....

2018 Fantasy Football Free Agent Preview: San Francisco 49ers

2018 NFL Draft Prospect: Chase Edmonds

With the college football season in the books, our attention is now on the All-Star circuit. The East-West Shrine game was played on January 20th in Jacksonville, Florida. Household names were absent as the rosters tend to focus on smaller schools. However, the game still has NFL prospects each season and deserves our attention. Previous alumni include this year’s breakout WR, Robby Anderson, along with other relevant players like Elijah McGuire, Allen Hurns, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Alfred Morris…....

Returning Dominators: No. 1 Michael Gallup

In this series, I’m breaking down the top-10 returning college wide receivers from 2016 by dominator rating (DR), using our FBS WR database. If you’re unfamiliar with dominator rating, it’s a receiver’s combined market share for yardage and TDs. While it’s only one element in receiver evaluation – and requires age and experience adjustments to tell the full story – it provides an excellent snapshot of a player’s role within his offense. …...
