When it comes to small receivers, not many get love here at RotoViz. After all, there is plenty of data to suggest that bigger is better. However, I was rather surprised to see that Tyler Lockett came in at just 21 in our Post Draft Rookie Rankings. I ranked him 12, which is a low first round pick in most leagues. There are quite a few…...

Sammie Coates received a wide range of votes in our Post Draft Rookie Rankings. The lowest ranking on him was 36, and the highest was 20 (courtesy of yours truly). Such a polarizing draft prospect deserves some further discussion, and I think you have an idea as to where I stand based on putting AJ Green in the title. Hyperbole? Definitely. Absolutely ridiculous? I think…...

We have covered wide receiver Amari Cooper pretty extensively here at RotoViz. Shawn Siegele compared him to recent top prospects. Justin Winn pondered if he would score more touchdowns than Kevin White. He is our number one overall rookie heading into the 2015 season, narrowly edging Todd Gurley. Before the draft, Kevin Cole produced a set of opportunity scores indicating the best landing spots for 2015 rookie wide receivers…....

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the best teams in football since Russell Wilson came to town in 2012. With his cool-under-pressure style and one of the best run games in football, the Seahawks have reached the Super Bowl in each of the past two seasons, winning one. With so much success, it’s difficult to believe that much will change in 2015. After all, the team…...

The RotoViz writers have been busy at work in their parents’ basement, where they took time out of their busy schedules of not getting any sun, in order to dynasty rookie rankings. Yesterday I posted an update of rookie running backs contrasting pre- and post-draft ADPs. I’ve done the same here for rookie wide receivers, and the results are both similar (almost universal ADP appreciation) and different (a couple are head-and-shoulders above the rest). As I mentioned in the rookie RB post, these visualization are based on redraft ADPs, but likely have implications for dynasty, at least…...

We’re only a few days past the NFL draft and rookie valuations are moving quickly. It’s a little difficult to get a substantial sample to gauge post-draft ADPs, but Fantasy Douche has the data from around 35 dynasty rookie drafts. We also have a goldmine of public redraft data from My Fantasy League MFL10s. I scraped all the MFL10 draft picks since last Sunday, and…...
There’s no guarantee these players will make final rosters, let alone have a fantasy impact. But it’s Spring, the season of dreams; who doesn’t love a good deep sleeper dynasty prospect? These five players have a reasonable chance of making their team, and a good enough history of production to suggest they can produce if they get a chance. Keep these guys in mind for…...
