Earlier this spring, Dave Caban and the powers that be at RotoViz were generous enough to give me a platform to host a weekly best ball live stream.
For those that haven’t checked it out, you can tune into Roster Locked: A Best Ball Show, live on RotoViz’s YouTube channel. Shows generally air every Saturday (occasionally Friday) night around 7:00 PM EST or later.
This Saturday (June 19th) at 6:45 PM, I have the privilege of being joined by our own Shawn Siegele to draft an FFPC best ball tournament team and talk some shop. But before we get to that, we thought it would be fun to offer a look at how we plan on approaching this Saturday’s draft.
You read that correctly, Shawn and I are more or less laying out what will be going through our minds as we draft a team live on air – leaving ourselves open to being inevitably sniped readers and viewers alike.
Is this foolish? Perhaps. Bold? Certainly. But ultimately the goal of this article is to provide all readers of it insight not just into a one-night approach by Shawn and I in this tournament, but things for them to keep in mind as they throw their hats into the ring as well.
Week 14 Woes
One key component to winning any league is being familiar with the scoring setting, and in the case of a tournament, how your team can advance. Below is a look at everything we need to know for the FFPC best ball tournament. Keep in mind that the scoring settings are full PPR with TE premium, with your rosters consisting of:
- 1x QB
- 2x RB
- 2x WR
- 1x TE
- 2x FLEX
- 10x BENCH
