Last year, Blair Andrews and I used the FFPC Roster Construction Explorer to win a nice little chunk of money in the Best Ball Superflex formats, and we tended to choose the prize option with a bunch of $35 credits. Those credits can now be used in the tournament version of the Superflex contest, which adds another cherry on top of what may already be my favorite contest.
When I say that the best ball tools are easily worth the cost of the subscription, you know that a) I’m biased, and b) I’m speaking from my own experience, but my own experience is that they turn your best ball entries into a money machine. When you have a down year picking players, you preserve your bankroll, and when you have a strong year, you compete for tournament championships.
The SF tournament offers a healthy $10,000 grand prize, and with 4,752 total entries, it has that intimate feel. Blair and I are currently slow-drafting in a league I’ll cover shortly, but I want to start this lesson of the 2022 workshop by looking at a hilarious “fast” draft that Ben Gretch and I participated in for a bonus episode of Stealing Bananas.
