Cash on the Barrelhead

Back when I practiced commercial litigation, I would often tell my clients: we can try for justice (a long fight), or take the cash on the barrelhead and move on. Most who held out for perfection ended up wishing they’d just taken the deal.

The dynasty trade market is often similar. When our guys hit, we can’t help but imagine what the secondary break-out might look like – when they falter, we fall back on the profiles that made them so compelling in the first place. With RBs especially, though, it is often best to take the money and run.
