Recently, Jerry Jones and his wife, Gene, donated $10.65M to the University of Arkansas and specifically to the Sports Kinesiology Department to go toward research on preventing and treating soft tissue injuries. The school organized a ceremony to mark the occasion of the gift, at which Jones was asked why in particular the money was to go toward soft tissue research, and this was his answer: “Well, a lot of reasons, really, but I can give you the short answer in three words: Darren McFadden’s hamstrings.”
