Kevin Szafraniec continues his deep dive into the NFC South by identifying the best and worst picks on the New Orleans Saints’ roster in 2026 best ball drafts.
Although Kellen Moore’s first season in New Orleans was a letdown when we look at the team’s 6-11 record, the Saints’ new coach did instill a sense of optimism for the team’s fantasy prospects moving forward.
The passing game in particular has received an infusion of positive energy under Moore. Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson both finished as top-eight PPR scorers at their respective positions, and Tyler Shough scored as the QB9 from the time he took over as starter in Week 9 through the end of the season.
With the Saints looking to take another step forward this season, they have added several new playmakers to their offense. This should certainly be deemed a positive for New Orleans’ real-world success, but will having more mouths to feed result in the team’s 2025 breakouts taking a step back in the box score?
In this series, we will focus on best ball ADP from the FFPC slim format, which features 20-round drafts, tight-end premium scoring (1.5 points per TE reception and 1.0 PPR for all other positions), and starting lineups consisting of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and two standard flex spots.
