Week 17 Recap
Week 17 was a week of “what ifs.” What if Travis Kelce didn’t disappear? What if David Johnson didn’t get hurt? What if I had rostered Zach Zenner over Jacquizz Rodgers? What if I had rostered Devonta Freeman over Johnson? All of these questions I had debated throughout the week up until lock. Playing Freeman would’ve put me on Julian Edelman over J.J Nelson, and Arizona defense over Browns. That was my debate Sunday morning. Sadly, from a results standpoint, that definitely didn’t work out. Week 17 could’ve been massive, but it’s always easy to look back at the results and say, “I should’ve done this.” Had my original selection worked out, I would’ve said, “yes, I’m a genius!” It’s funny how our mindset is depending on the results of our team.
2016 Season Recap
Even with Kelce and the Johnson injury, I managed to keep my head above water with a massive $19.40 profit. Considering before the Sunday night game started, I was -$1900, I’ll consider it a win!
It was a frustrating season overall with many ups and downs. I only returned 4.65 percent this season, when in 2015, I had returned 14 percent. The NFL year can be filled with variance, which is why I always stress bankroll management. I hope my articles helped you each week and that you all had successful NFL seasons!
