DraftKings Small Field Conference Championship Weekend Walkthrough

If you want to improve at DFS, you need to find the types of contests that allow you to have success and continue to play mainly in those. This enables you not only to have a greater chance of success each week but also to improve in identifying contest specific dynamics and trends.

I am a lower-stakes, small-field tournament player. I do not play cash games, and I do not play large-field GPP contests unless I am just tossing in an entry for fun. The contests I am playing in typically have 60 entrants or fewer. These contests are my favorite because you do not need to get as many things right to get near the top of the leaderboard. Finding the right stacks in small fields is a great example of this. Most people do not stack enough in these types of contests. Finding the right stacks and leverage points is a great way to vault up to the top of the leaderboard.

I ended up swapping to George Kittle and Ezekiel Elliott because I was so far behind. This was about my worst finish in a 21-person contest this season. The Eagles stack just did not score enough points. Overall, it was a pretty low-scoring slate — 132 points was enough to win this contest. That is the main reason why I love small field contests.

Let’s get into the last multi-game slate of the season!

Navigating Bills Dolphins, Value Running Backs, And A Sneaky Stack – Week 4 DraftKings Preview.

Constructing your teams around value running backs will be the theme of the main slate on DraftKings once again. Legitimately you could argue for four or five of the mid-priced RBs. Christian McCaffrey ($9200) and Tony Pollard ($7800) are the high-priced bell cows. Do you spend up at running back and lock in McCaffrey’s insane workload and efficiency? Or do you spend up at quarterback…...

No Dolphins, No Cash: Week 3 DraftKings Review

Daily Fantasy is a humbling game. You know the best plays and you think you know how to attack them in certain contest sizes. However, as the weekend goes along, you find that plays you thought would be overused might not be all that popular. So you pivot your team toward what you perceive as a contrarian build, instead of evaluating why those are unpopular…...

Paying Up Or Paying Down At QB? Week 3 DraftKings Slate Breakdown

Once again the main slate on DraftKings slate appears to have some firm value plays, especially at the running back position. We have our first spot start from a fun backup quarterback with Anthony Richardson all but certain to miss this game with a concussion. We are waiting on some injury news that we probably won’t get until late Saturday or early Sunday morning at…...
