With the combine in the rear-view mirror, 2023 NFL prospect turn their focus to their college team’s pro day. Pro days give players the opportunity to perform in front of scouts at their own facilities. Most posted times are unofficial. However, players can improve upon NFL combine results and showcase their skills in position drills.
Let’s look at how each of the top prospects performed at their pro days (if at all) and what effect those performances might have on their draft stock and fantasy outlook. We’ll use the non-Superflex PPR (tight end premium) rankings from Volume 2 of the RotoViz Rookie Guide as our baseline, and compare pro day performances with combine numbers where applicable. Matt Spencer has previously written about how we should intepret (and adjust, or not) pro day times — his work is required reading on the topic for those trying to evaluate prospects based on pro day numbers.
