Examining the past is a good way to get an understanding of what may happen in the future. When it comes to best ball tournaments, the fantasy community is still trying to figure out the entire puzzle, which leaves plenty of opportunity to gain an edge on the competition. Therefore, we will be taking a look at FFPC best ball win rates in an attempt to gain an advantage in the 2026 FFPC Best Ball Tournament.

For this exercise, we will be using the wealth of information available in our Best Ball Win Rate Explorer. In order to replicate the scoring settings of the FFPC Best Ball Tournament, we will be looking at single-quarterback slim drafts from the past six years. (Slim data in the Win Rate Explorer only goes back to 2020, but there is information on classic-style leagues going back to 2017. For fantasy managers who want to dive deeper into superflex leagues, the tool has that information available as well.)

For those who may be unfamiliar with the FFPC Best Ball Tournament, each draft consists of 20 rounds, and starting rosters feature one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and two flex spots. Scoring settings are TE-premium, meaning TEs are awarded 1.5 points per reception while every other position operates under normal PPR scoring.
