For those who listened to Mike Beers on our RotoViz Overtime best ball podcasts, you know a few tricks of the trade in FFPC leagues. Mike’s tools like the FFPC Command Center and the FFPC Dashboard provide all of the rankings and ADP data you need to perfect your preparation, balance your exposures, and manage your picks in-draft. The just-released Best Ball Win Rates Explorer allows you to peruse historical player win rates, understand positional win rates, and investigate player stacks. Today, we’re going to use another of my favorite tools, the Roster Construction Explorer, to help create a significant tactical advantage before you even get to player selection. Want to start with a win rate above 10% just by making three simple choices at positions you don’t think much about? The RCE gives us that advantage by highlighting decisions that have led to success in every season of FFPC best ball play.

We’ll finish with an easy additional hack that pushes you above 11% and take a quick look at a risky tactic that has won at a rate above 15% in each of the three seasons.
