Kevin Szafraniec wraps up his deep dive into the NFC East by identifying the best and worst picks on the Washington Commanders’ roster in 2026 best ball drafts.
The Commanders entered 2025 with high expectations after reaching the NFC Conference Championship game the previous season, thanks in large part to the arm and legs of rookie phenom Jayden Daniels.
In an effort to maximize their chances of taking the next step, the Washington front office invested heavily in proven veterans last offseason. Unfortunately, Daniels was limited to seven games because of knee and elbow injuries. Meanwhile, the NFL’s oldest roster looked its age as the team struggled to a 5-12 record.
After experiencing some massive highs in Daniels’ first season, the Commanders found themselves at the other end of the spectrum a year later. With Washington’s coaching staff firmly on the hot seat, will Daniels and Co. rally behind them, or will things get worse in D.C. before they get better?
In this series, we will focus on best ball ADP from the FFPC slim format, which features 20-round drafts, tight-end premium scoring (1.5 points per TE reception and 1.0 PPR for all other positions), and starting lineups consisting of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and two standard flex spots.
