2015 season recap
It’s finally here, the conclusion of the 2015 NFL season. It was definitively a roller coaster season as far as my bankroll goes. Nine of the 17 weeks I managed to roster an injured player, which put a damper on things, but the important thing is what your bankroll looks like at the end of the season. One of my strongest suits when it comes to daily fantasy football and DFS in general is keeping strict bankroll practices.
While some weeks I did play more, it wasn’t because I was chasing losses, it was because I was tinkering with different percentages of cash games versus GPPs. This is still a work in progress, but I do prefer around 13-to-15 percent in cash games with two percent in GPPs. This is just my preference for NFL. When I first started, I never played more than 10 percent of my bankroll in a given week. It all comes down to what you feel comfortable with.
Week 17 was my best week of the year; I profited $2,662. That was just $300 shy of what I won during the first 16 weeks combined. Crazy, right? It’s weird that all it takes is one week to get you back in the game. Just don’t get discouraged if you’re in a losing streak. I lost around $1,200 in Weeks 10 through 12, but that’s just how it goes sometimes because of how much variance there is in the NFL. All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with my profit of $5,577 on the year. It was great to finish the year on a high note.
Thanks everyone for reading along and I hope my series helped you all become a profitable players this season!
