Quarterback waiver wire targets: Week 9
Sam Darnold (23%) — Outside of Ghostgate in New England, Darnold has been decent in tough matchups against Dallas (338-2) and Jacksonville (218-2). Now the schedule clears up for Darnold with games against the Dolphins, Giants, Redskins, Raiders, Bengals, and Dolphins (again) for the next six games. If Darnold doesn't put up top-12 numbers in this stretch, there's a problem. It's the easiest QB stretch over the next month and a half, per our Strength of Schedule app.
Ryan Tannehill (30%) — Now entrenched as Tennessee's starter, Tannehill has been solid since stepping in midway through Week 6. He's completed 57 of 78 passes (73%) for 649 yards (8.3 YPA), 5 TDs and 2 INTs. He has games against Carolina and Kansas City on tap. He's one of the best streaming options for the next two weeks.
